Overview ✨

We are excited to announce the release of Version 2.0 of the Brighthive platform. Brighthive continues to enhance enterprise focused data environments with a suite of data agents working together as your full data team to accelerate time to insight.

This version introduces our slew of Agentic AI core to the platform including the ability to create your own custom agents via the Brightbot Studio. 🤖

Agents introduced in this release include:

• Brighthive Retrieval agent - Queries your data warehouse and documents to answer your questions with your enterprise's data 🔍

• Brighthive Visualization Agent - visualizes your data in different chart formats on demand 📊

• Brighthive Data Engineering Agent - builds data pipelines by writing valid dbt code for based on underlying metadata. ⚙️

• Brighthive Analytics Agent - An Agent that runs Jupyter notebooks to surface some of your most interesting trends on your data. 📈

  
  

Behind the AI Agents we are also excited to launch a slew of tools that help the AI Agents in their work and analysis. Tools released as part of this launch include: 🛠️

Permissions and control tool - A tool that manages RBAC related work to ensure data and privacy is protected on the underlying platform and surfaces results to the agents based on the access permissions of the user and the role assigned to the user. 🔒

• Query Retrieval Tool - A tool that retrieves data from Redshift and Snowflake for Brighthive's main agent. 💾

• Metadata Retrieval Tool - This tool retrieves metadata of different data sources that have been ingested on the Brighthive platform. 📋

• Neo4j Retrieval Tool - Retrieves the underlying Graph data residing in neo4j. 🕸️

• Visualization Retrieval Tool - Works with underlying visualization engine to create visualizations. 🎨

• Github Tool - Assists in pushing code to Github for version control and source control management. This tool is used when Agents create query assets that are also used for feedback. 💻

  
  

New Features 🌟

• New User Interface: In an effort to continuously improve the user experience we have made significant improvements on navigation, ease of use and usability. 💫

• Brighthive Agentic AI: Released our first set of 4 core Agents that significantly improve and enhance data-engineering capabilities for teams of any size. 🤖

• Brightbot Studio: Released a fully refreshed version of Brightbot Studio allowing users to create custom AI bots. 🔧

• Usage: As part of this release we have also added the ability for customers to view token usage, grouped by total token usage and at a granular user level. This allows customers to be informed on how much and who is using Agents. 📊

Scaling improvements - Behind the scenes, we have made significant improvements on scaling of the platform, including our data ingestion infrastructure, metadata infrastructure and continued support of BYOW (Bring your own warehouse). 🚀
